1. About these terms
The interest list is operated by Taras Demeshko, 19 Novoselytska Street, Kyiv 02000, Ukraine (“we”, “us”). These terms apply when you join the list or write to us about it. Use of the website in general is covered by the Terms of Service, and the way we handle your personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.
2. Project status
Tingholm Fjord Resort & Casino is a planned resort. Nothing has been built yet, no guests are received, and the opening date is to be announced. Everything on this website describes the project as it is currently planned.
3. What the interest list is — and is not
The interest list is a way to receive news about the project. Joining it:
- is not a booking or a reservation;
- is not an offer, and does not create a contract for accommodation or any other service;
- does not involve any payment or deposit, and we will never ask for one through the list;
- does not give priority, and does not guarantee a room, a price, a date or availability of any kind.
4. Not a request for legal services
Tingholm is a hospitality project. It is not a law firm and provides no legal services or legal advice. Joining the list or writing to us is not a request for legal services and does not create a lawyer–client relationship. Please do not send us details of legal matters.
5. Information is indicative
All images on this website are artist’s impressions. Areas, capacities, numbers of rooms, layouts, finishes, names and facilities are project figures and plans; they may change during design and construction, and some features may not be built at all.
6. The Summit Wing
The descriptions of the Summit Wing — its separate arrival, planned soundproofing, meeting rooms without cameras and document room — are design intentions. They are not a promise or a guarantee of confidentiality, privacy or security of any kind.
7. The gaming lounge
The entertainment and gaming lounge is planned subject to licensing. Norway does not currently license land-based casinos, and the lounge will open only if the necessary permission is granted. It may never open. If it does, it will be open to adults aged 18 and over only. No gaming of any kind is offered through this website.
8. Opening date
No opening date has been set, and none is guaranteed. The project may be delayed, changed or abandoned. We will tell people on the interest list about significant developments.
9. News by email, and how to leave the list
If you join, we will send occasional emails about the project, normally no more than a few times a year. You can leave the list at any time, free of charge, by writing to [email protected] or by replying to any of our emails and asking to be removed.
10. Future booking terms
Booking terms, prices and cancellation rules will be published before reservations open. They will apply to bookings; these terms do not.
11. Age
The interest list is intended for adults aged 18 and over.
12. Intellectual property
The name Tingholm, the seal, the texts and the artist’s impressions on this website belong to us or our licensors. Joining the list gives you no rights in them. More detail is in the Terms of Service.
13. Limitation of liability
Because the information about the project is indicative, please do not make travel plans, commitments or financial decisions in reliance on it. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss caused by such reliance or by changes to the project.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
14. Events beyond our control
We are not responsible for delays or changes to the project caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as planning or licensing decisions, extreme weather, natural events, pandemics, war, or shortages of materials or labour.
15. Complaints
If you have a complaint about the interest list, write to [email protected]. We aim to reply within 30 days.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country.
The European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, previously used for consumer disputes, was closed on 20 July 2025. Consumers in Norway can ask Forbrukerrådet (the Norwegian Consumer Council) for help in resolving a dispute; consumers elsewhere in the EEA can contact their national consumer body.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the project develops. The effective date at the top shows the current version. If a change is significant, we will tell people on the interest list by email.
